MUCOBA BANK PLC Formerly Mufindi Community Bank Ltd, the first community Bank in Tanzania invites applications from qualified Tanzanians to fill in the following vacancies.
IT CUM ACCOUNTANT
(i)           Reporting to the Finance Manager
(ii)          Identifying computer requirements for various departments of the Bank
(iii)        Ensuring daily transactions are balancing (in collaboration With Operations Manager)
(iv)        Maintaining back-ups of all transactions on daily basis
(v)          Ensuring back-ups and all computer accessories are kept in a safe place/custody
(vi)        Offering technical assistance to staff members
(vii)       Drawing up maintenance plans for computers and other working facilities
(viii)      Providing technical advice to the Finance Manager and other users
(ix)        Preparing and printing of reports from the computer software as would be required users of financial information.
(x)          Performing any other duties as may be assigned by higher authority from time to time
Key qualification
i)             Holder of Bachelor degree in Accounting/ Business Administration and Information Technology from the recognized institutions.
ii)            Must have an experience of at least three years in Bankers realm core banking system and two years in accounting and finance in banking industry.
iii)          Must be competent in English language both in writing and oral.

OPERATIONS MANAGER
Duty Station: Mafinga Head Quarter
1.1 Background of the Position
The recruited staff will report to the General Manager and he/she is expected to assist the Bank in direct and coordinate the marketing of MUCOSA BANK PLC banking services with the objective of expanding the breadth and depth of the bank's outreach in its core market, through increased use of technology, innovations and the development and implementation of financial literacy.
Basic Qualifications and Experience
i. Necessary Background: In Banking and Marketing for a reasonable time
ii. Academic qualification: Commerce, banking, business administration and marketing or any other business related discipline. An MBA or any other higher degree will be an added advantage.
iii. Professional Training: In Banking, finance and Marketing
iv. Work Experience: At least 10 years work experience after completing ones education of which at least four years must have been spent in marketing and branch operations in a bank or financial institution. Experience in working with SACCOS and other Informal financial institutions will be an added advantage
Attributes
i. Ability to speak and write good English and Kiswahili and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ii. Sound knowledge of the development challenges of rural communities in Tanzania generally and in lringa region in particular.
iii. Demonstrates high level of creativity and innovativeness
iv. Demonstrates high level of integrity and honesty
v. Demonstrates clear ability in the use of computers and especially MS Word, Excel for windows and Power Point
vi. Should demonstrate cooperation and tact when dealing with others
vii. Encourages innovation, creativity and flexibility in people he/she supervises
viii.Should demonstrate perseverance with good spirit under pressure
ix. lnspires and motivates those he/she supervises
Remuneration
A competitive remuneration package will be offered to qualified candidates depending on qualifications and experience.
